Good Journalism in 140 Characters or More
For its annual conference, the Canadian Association of Journalists (CAJ) focused on the new realities facing journalists: writers being told to shoot pictures, photographers being told to start shooting video, everyone having to file what they have as soon as they have it to websites and blogs. From there, the news is Twittered, Facebooked, and forwarded to many more social-media sites. The CMRC took part in this conference by presenting on the future of journalism in Canada and how audiences want to consume news.
